How AI Responds to Prompts

Large Language Models (LLMs) are sophisticated neural networks trained on vast amounts of text and code. When an LLM receives a prompt, it doesn't "understand" the text in the same way a human does. Instead, it processes the input as a sequence of tokens and uses its training to predict the most probable sequence that should follow.

The Predictive Nature of LLMs

LLMs are probabilistic models that generate responses based on statistical likelihood, not genuine comprehension. The model predicts the next word based on preceding words and learned context.
